About Me
PLANETARY SCIENTIST, EDUCATOR, ARTIST
Collin Cherubim

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Earth and Planetary Sciences department at Harvard University where I research exoplanets and astronomy in collaboration with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I hold B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University where I conducted research on nucleic acids and biophysical properties of PNA. I formerly taught chemistry and physics teacher at Roxbury Prep Charter School in Boston, MA and Casablanca American School in Morocco. I also manage a small team of tutors and mentors who help high school students achieve their dreams, no matter where they're from (International Tutors).
I founded eta Earth as a conduit to relay the wonders of science to curious minds of all backgrounds. I ensure that my posts and featured posts from fellow scientists and students are well researched, considerate, and honest. We aim to inspire, share ideas, and learn from each other.
When I'm not writing blog posts about my favorite topics like astrophysics and quantum mechanics, I record music, train muay Thai, and look for the next exciting thing to learn about. Thanks for reading and please comment on our posts if you have questions, criticisms, etc!
